  • I need help again.........

I have a huge double saddle seat on my bike and want it flat, so I figured I'd just order a seat cover for the flat style seats and cut my foam out, to fit the new cover. What I need is to know if anyone has done this? Does the difference in seat pans make it so the flat cover won't work? I have a 1980 XS Special, and it has the dips on each side, so I hope there will be enough cover to go around them. Lastly I need to know what models came with the flat seats, so I can order the cover using that model instead of mine, I'm not even sure if the seat on mine is origional, but I'd bet it is. Thanks alot guys and gals! Happy riding!!

      Well............

It needs to be recovered anyway so it's unlikely in my eyes that people are looking to trade seats unless theirs is in need of a cover too, I will have pics by the end of the week, Thanks again!!
