Kawasaki KZ1000 carbs

Was browsing around e-bay when I noticed these carbs, they are suposedly off a 02 Kawasaki KZ1000 police bike but they look almost identical to the ones on my 79 XS1100. Anyone know if these carbs are/were used on a lot of bikes?
