So what was the difference that gave you half a tenth on the first one?

it was a bobber, i cut every thing off that it didnt need to run.
lowered it 2 inches and moved the front wheel out 1 inch
.. big bore kit and a vance n hines 4 in to 1 side winder from a z1
it ran really good and had a bitchin top end speed but i think a set of 36 mm mikuni flat slides would have put me in the high 11s
but with the stock carbs it ran good every where slow or fast
.. not very impresive numbers but thats what us fat guys get at sea level
