Anybody have the factory specs for a 79 special? The Specifications page says available but not yet posted.
All help is appreciated.
Thanks

If you'll follow this link: Yamaha Online Parts Catalog
and then click on the "Proceed to Parts catalog", and then on that page, select "Motorcycle, then your year and make", then you will find all sorts of info, especially if you'll scroll down to the Service Data section, and the Technical Bulletins, you'll find lots of info!

I was wanting to know kinda dumb stuff like weight and fuel capacity. The Yamaha site looks like it will be useful. I also found what I was looking for in the Pictures section on a brochure. http://www.xs11.com/pix/1979sf.shtml
Maybe I should have done a little more investigating first!
Thanks to both of you for your help
