Anyone tried installing a set of harley air shocks on their xs? The length is right at 12 3/4. Anyone know what size the mounting bolts are or if they will work without a lot of modifing.

Yes, a friend of mine installed stock HD shocks on his 78, but not air shocks. He had to cut the bottom mount thinner on one side, pretty sure it was the right, and had to fab a spacer for the other side as the stud from the final drive was too small.Brian

XJ Air shocks work great if you can find them. Some air shocks off of the old goldwings are the same.
