swing arm bearings

just a quick one,iam am just building a brand new swing arm up and have got new bearings to put in, the Q is does the outer race part of the bearings go in the swing arm until they cant go in anymore,or near to the edge of the arm??????

The outer race should be fully seated in the swing arm. If you look in the bottom of the swingarm opening, there is a small ridge. Outer race should be against this ridge.
