What part of your Eleven does it touch the ground first (while cornering)

I think I saw this thread somewhere.... but what the heck....
Anyhoo, it's the centerstand. But I dont have the original exhaust and I think the centerstand gets a bit lower. Bout an inch clearance on the engine guards. Did a right centerstand/footpeg/foot combo while riding solo once.
A friend who used to race one for a while said it was the muffler clamp bolts till he turned them up.

Banking left its the SIDESTAND on my '79 SF

The bars around the saddle bags! it got away from me on the lawn while rolling it around- tipped about 40 degrees over and stopped. When i saw that i thought to myself that i wouldnt be doing any hard cornering on this bike!!! THat was before i had ridden it.

Well,

On left turns it's my center stand, cause it's a bit lower than stock, metal piece bolted to rear foot peg holds it down away from 4-1 collector, but there's room for raising it up.

On right turns, the megaphone of my 4-1 pipes, again mounted just a tad lower that where I'd like it to be.

So far nothing. When you take twisties at 3.67 mph the bike is fairly upright!!

with the 4-1 i had... on right turns it hit much sooner then anything else (especially stock exhaust) which IMO is kinda dangerous.

I have only scraped once so far. It was the center stand on a slow hard left. I have a 4-1 and the heel of the left CS pad hits the pipe keeping it down farther than it would be stock. It makes me nervous and I dont really like it. But, as of yet, I haven't come up with any way to fix it and keep the stand.

My E scrapes the centerstand on the left and a muffler bolt on the right. My LG hasn't been that far over yet, the Dunlop K404's don't inspire enough confidence for that. Maybe next year if I can wear these out (off to do a smoke-show).

.. on a previous special with the center stand removed it was
first the muffler.. then the foot peg.. then the handle bar.. then my helmet.. then me and the bike touching down in the bottom of the ditch on the other side of the corner
.. on my newest special with no center stand and a realy good suspension set up with sporty tires all i seem to touch are the sides of my boots
