        Hey Denny,

        You shouldn't necessarily need to do a resynch. Just be careful when working on the carbs that you don't mess with the synch screws inbetween the carb bodies. You can do all the jet work WITHOUT removing them from the mounting strip, leave them all banked together, and you should be okay without a resynch!

          Yes, you should sync the carbs after jet changes. If you just pull the float bowels, they should still be close. If you have the tool, it's worth the few minutes to verify!

            The XS1100 is the easiest bike made to remove the carbs on.

            Undo the bottom of the airbox and remove. Remove a couple of srews, slip the top bracket of the airbox inder the tab and push down.

            Now pull the carbs back and lift above the filter boots and out they come.

              Well the serverice department told me it will take a couple of weeks to get the jets in... I will let you all know how it went.. Thanks for all your help I really appreciate it..
