    Emblem information

    FYI - The emblems I got from the OldBikeBarn.Com that came from the fella in Australia that makes replica badges...

    Yeah...well they are made out of metal...not plastic like the originals. They appear to be built better than the original Yamaha emblems and they look great.

    If you need emblems I recommend these. They were $40 each but well worth it.

    Did it mount up OK? I had heard the dimension between mounting screws was off and the screws did not match the holes?

      Nope...matched up perfectly. I think he used an old set of emblems for the mold.

        I got the tank emblems from the same source, and yes the holes didn't match up. No problem, just lined up one hole and then drilled and tapped a new hole in the tank flange to meet the other one. They look fantastic.

        The rear cowl badge lined up perfect with the holes.

        BTW, the gold is actually GOLD PLATING. Will never tarnish or peel. Waiting for the side cover emblems to get here.
