Just put a new Bridgestone Battlax BT45 V size 120/90/17 on my '81H. I wanted to go with the 13/90/17 but let the dealer talk me into staying with the stock size. He said the handling would be better than going with the wider tire. I don't know about that but took his advice as he should know more than I. Anyway, I put about 400 miles on her this weekend with my wife riding along and seemed to be a great tire. Straight line stability was great and never lost any traction, though I wasn't doing any hardcore riding with the wife aboard. Will report back after some more miles with further info. Oh, $200 out the door - $138 for the tire, $50 something for the labor to mount and balance - they even took the tire off the bike and put it back on.
