Noticed this on mcmart, 79 XS1100 Special, $350 Just thought I would pass it on.

The ad says "thrown rod" I assume a connecting rod broke...which I think is a rare occurance on an Eleven. In Either case if it broke the crankcase...well....yuck.

Geeze you would think with only 2 or 3 lines of text I would have noticed that. I must have been sniffing too much gunk today.
