Depends on what parts your wanting to use. Most parts are the same. There were a few changes to the motor/carbs. as well as the speedo gauge.S.R.Czekus

Are they both specials or standards? Very few parts other than motors, rear end work on both. The 81 will have a different CDI box and coils.Gary Granger
