midnight special speedometer????
wondering if anyone knows right off hand if the 1980 or 1981 model midnight specials would have come with a 120 mph speedometer??? I know about the 160mph and the 85mph but have never seen one with a 120 mph speedo...

My '81 Midnight Special came from the P.O. with the 85MPH speedo - seriously doubt he changed out the speedo to 'downgrade'.
Also, Yamaha's part # description for the '81 Speedo - Part # 3J6-83570-A1-00 does not specify the MPH range. -
