  • Hardware help, anyone?

OK, even with my extensive resources and skills I need help finding some fasteners. Anyone have a source for these:

10mm x 1.25 acorn (also called crown) nuts. Either stainless (preferred) or chrome.

BTW, there are plenty of 10mm x 1.50 out there, but not 1.25 thread. HELP

might want to try home dept or lowes. Different stores carry different things, in my area lowes has a great selection of stainless. I have purchased 10 1.25 there as well but not sure about the acorn. How many are you in need of? I'll check and see over the wekend.

I buy almost all of my hardware from www.nutty.com but most everything comes in 100 count or larger boxes.

                Acorn nuts

You can get the acorn nuts at McMaster Carr www.McMaster.com and in addition, most any kind of hardware you can imagine.

The hardware stores in the area where I live have almost no selection of metric hardware at all. To find a metric-fine thread cap nut would be inpossible! The internet rules for finding odd hardware like this!
