Just became the proud owner of a 81 Midnight Special. It runs but is somewhat of a fixer upper. I've rebuilt the brakes, gone thru the carbs and plan to check valve clearances this weekend. I'll probably have lots of questions for the knowledgeable folks here.

I'll need to get a new exhaust for my 81 Midnight very soon. Any recommendations? Mac seems to have decent prices but I'm open. Not above painting chrome pipes black either

Persoanlly I like the quality of the Jardines over Macs. 4 into 1's are easy to find but 4 into 2's are a challenge.

Lists 4 into 2's for Macs and Jardines but he's high on the Macs.

I've seen black chrome pipes listed on a Google search but didn't look at them. I was looking for new chrome pipes at the time.

Scroll down, and you'll see several photos of styles of pipes available NEW. If you want BLACK, you can only get it in 4-1 style, with black megaphone, or chrome muffler! Hope this helps!
