Maximan, It was a Sabre 750... It averaged 47 mpg. The point was I rode it hard.

On this site there is a thread that says a guy tested mineral oil head to head with synthetic. He drove 80 mph for 10 miles and checked each oil at the end of the 10 miles. the synthetic tested 27 degrees cooler than mineral oil. Synthetic runs cooler, retains viscosity, and is not affected by carbon from combustion. It appears to me 100,000 would be achieved easier with synthetic.
