Help Me TAME my throttle and clutch lines!

I changed out my Ape hanger bars that cam ewith the bike to a straight bar and the clutch, brake and throttle cable are way too long.

I am Okay with the Brake line but the throttle and Clutch are way too long. In addition the throttle is reving erractically and I am sure it is due to the extra length.

Anyone know how to shorten this/these (clutch too) painlessly/safely.

    Thanks.

No. Buy new ones. The ends are cast on and no way that I know of to re-make them.

Back in the day, motorcycle shops used to make cables. I don't know of any that have the equipment anymore! New cables should only be about $25.00.

For the clutch, heat up and melt the solder in the handlebar end brass connecter. It'll come off. Snip the cable and sheath to desired length. Poke the cable back into the brass connecter, fray the ends, fill the frayed end with solder, grind or file flush. Done.
