Jardine 4 into 2's out there?

I've been looking for Jardines but all I find is Mac brand mufflers. Do any of you gents know where there might be some Jardines sitting in a stockroom looking for a home?

I've called six different places that had the Jardines on the websites but not in stock and they aren't making 4 into 2's any more.

I found mine used, check eBay until you find a set. Problems is that shipping is getting quite expensive. Bought mine a few years ago, paid $50.00, I believe, but shipping was another $20.00 or so.

BTW, Pepe le Pew (Warner Brothers) is a skunk with a romantic disposition......

LOL Jerry, I was hoping that the bike would make my SWMBO more romantic but it hasn't happened yet!!

There is a used "dented" set on ebay that ends this evening. I also located a new set but the guy is hesitant to sell it to me. 81's aren't listed on his spec sheet.

Get the set on ebay. The seller says that you can't see the dent. I have the same criss cross pipes on my bike and I love them. They look and sound great! If the guy with the new set is hesitant, then tell him that the 81 is no different than the others. Those are OEM pipes for a Special.

Thanks for having the great shots posted John. They gave me an idea on the looks of the pipes.

Thumper, those look like the set currently on my 81H. When Nashvillebill saw my bike he commented about the special pipes on it. They look like the ones on the Yamaha photos of the bike from the 80's though so I don't know if they are replacements or not.
