      Hey Gary,

That's great! BTW, Small world, there's another Xsive right there in Moline! He's Chuck, the owner/moderator of the YAHOO group, ALLXS11s. And there's another fellow nearby, goes by ACE, Mark Birkey. Have you actually already rebuilt your bike, or are you saying that with the info you've found, you've found ALL THE INFO you need to rebuild it, but haven't done so yet!?

Anyways, welcome and glad you found us!

Hey garyrc, Are you going to the XS rally in Been Blossom? I'll be riding through the Quad Cities on my way and will be picking up XSives on the way. Hopefully by the time we get to BeanBlossom, we have a few bikes rollin in. If not, Rally the XSives up and ride part way. Mabee as far as peoria. I'll be picking up an XSive there.
I should be rolling though in the PM of July 14th.

Yes i have already rebuilt my bike as far as running. just need a really good paint job now. how ever when i run at idle i seem to be getting a little popping out of the pipes. not from the carbs but from the pipes.

              Hey garyc,

That popping sound from the pipes indicates a lean condition. Since it occurs at idle, either your pilot jets are clogged, or the mixture screws aren’t set right. Mine did the same thing (I also heard it when decelerating with closed throttle), so I adjusted the idle screws and that got rid of the pops.

You need to lift the tank slightly which will allow access to the screws with a small screwdriver.

              Good luck
