  • lookin for thread with an xs in a car!!

Hi a while a go i saw a picture of an xs in the boot of a small car, would be fun to see it again if anyone knows who posted it or when it was posted??

i had a scooter in the boot of a family hatchback ,this was bad enough but the guy i saw on here had an xs1100 in a small sized hatch!!!

i know its crazy!! its not clever or good for the bike the car or the road just want to prove it was done!!!

Kinda reminds me of an idea i had for a second..

throwing a honda civic SI motor on an XS... then making the transmission/transfer case fit.. god.. 160hp.. on a 800lb bike/motor

that reminds me of a break down I had with a Moto Guzzi back in 1973...
'comin' from Oklahoma to California and the transmission froze up...

A guy was going by (in the middle of the Texas desert) in a 1970 Datsun 510 station wagon and offered me AND the bike a ride to California...

The Guzzi had a LARGE fariing, lowers, hard saddle bags, and a trunk... the bike fit into the back of the car, but the ABS bits had to be straped down on the roof.

...it was *not* good for the car - the suspension was bottomed out.
Top speed was 56mph all the wayl...

'got a picture *somewhere* at home...

..with *that* said I too would like to see an XS STUFFED into a car's boot!

I can't remember where I posted it, or whose it was, but here's his photo again:

Yeah, that was when I was young and stupid. Today... I'm just older and stupid.
Was moving the bike around today while cleaning the garage. Sidestand folded up on me and I dropped it again! Nice gouge across the windscreen. This makes four times that I've layed it down in my own driveway. There's something wrong here!

Excellent!! look that is just so funny no need to be embarrassed of that !!if people dont get it, stuff em!!!

people were laughing at my scooter in my Mondeo hatch ,scooter is light but is quite big ,nothing like that tho!!

when you got to get a bike home it gets there by any way or measure as getting it home is all that counts!!!
