    Epoxy Paint Questions

    Anyone have any experience with painting the carb bodies and master cylinder reservoir (81 Midnight Special)?

    Was looking for a rattle-can alternative - possibly the Plasti-Kote Gloss Black All Purpose Epoxy Paint - http://www.plastikote.com/plastikote...duct=Epoxy&t=1

      Hello again, Better to powder coat both. I'd suggest IF you paint mastercylinders, calipers or anything with DOT3 running thru it you clean out all your lines and use DOT 5.

          Polyurethane may be your best bet for that. Be aware that epoxy chalks rapidly in the sun (UV exposure). Poly is reasonably brake fluid and gas proof.
