  • carb part....maybe for a 78E

    If the part that my guy found isn't the right one I may need some help . The little fuel T fitting that goes from the fuel line and then splits to go into each carb is bad. It's one between number 3 and 4. He checked with Yamaha and it is a discontinued part. Go figure. If the one he has is not the right one I am going to call on the good the people of this. Should know tommorow. If some one has access to one please let me know.

    I got mine from Speed and Sport, they were NOS and don't leak. Don't know if they still have any, but give them a call. here's their website link:

    There's another guy that fabricates replacements from brass tees. IIRC, it's motorcyclecarbs.com or some such site. Do a search here for fuel tees and you'll probably find the site URL

          Believe it or not the guy looked in his "junk" box and a found the exact same part in good shape. What luck.
