help itentifying a gauge cluster?

I am going through a box of XS1100 stuff, getting ready to post it in the classifieds and/or eBay.
I came accross a gauge cluster that looks similar to that of a Special, but it has a mechanical tach.
The speedo reads to 85 MPH (140 KPH) like the 80 and 81 Special, and the tach shows red from 9,500 through 12,000.

The speedo has small print on the face that says
"Nippon Seiki Japan 1154"
Any ideas as to it's origin?

AFAIK none of the XS/XJ11 redlined at 9500. They all were 8500.

My XJ750 redlined at 9500.

The cluster you described may have come from an 80 XS850 Special. They had mechanical tachs and an 85 mph speedo.
