    Rotor needed for 78'E stardard

When I bought my bike it had xs650 single disc brakes on the front.I got the other caliper and plumbing for it also a set of slotted rotors off of ebay.Put it all togeather and the front end shakes like crazy when you apply the front brakes, the rotors are warped . I still have the one good standard rotor that was on it when I bough it.So if I can get ahold of another standard rotor that is in good shape I will be able to stop without the shakes. Any help out there locating one? Thanks Dan

Dan, did you also replace the front master cylinder? The 650 , having just one rotor, uses an M/C with a smaller bore, and smaller displacement, so it may not apply enough pressure to properly apply the brakes. The bore should be 11/16 inch. It will be cast into the bottom of the M/C. I just checked my spare and it is there on the bottom.

I checked the MC on my bike and it does have 11/16" on it, so that should be the correct one.
