anyone got a set of forks for a 79 special??

Hi i am looking for an excellent pair of stanchions/tubes at least

mine are very slightly pitted and are starting to catch the seals

looking to buy a really good pair (are they the same on any other model)

if nobody has any does anyone know suppliers and prices for new??

these need shipped to the united kingdom if you do have any

may consider complete set of forks

looked on ebay think id rather buy brand new stanchions if they are out there save messing about and dissapointments etc

Got a set not that long ago from MandP not cheap at about £160

i bought some bits off them earlier today didnt see forks listed will go back and look or contact them

was expecting that sort of price but hoping for around 95 quid in my dreams ,david silver honda cbx was 35 quid each!!!

so was hoping someone would come up with similar options on these xs's!!!!

Hey Gaffer,

You missed a decent set on Ebay that were listed in GB, went for about 30 pounds!

I just sniped a set from a US vender for the 79SF I'm rebuilding!

I had to pay over $200 to Forks by Frank 4 years ago for some new custom 4" overlength made uppers! Good Hunting!

didnt notice the nasty pitted bit till today was devastated!!

think i saw the forks you were on about remember thinking they were cheap for over here!!

just this sec got me a 4-2 short silencer system and fork emblem off ebay so forks got to be cheap now!!
