what is the size of original 11 special round headlight??

Hi ,i got an old 6 inch suzuki light on my bike, can anyone out there tell me the size of the xs11 special light (just the glass)top centre to bottom centre ,are all years of special the same size and also will any smaller model light units fit the 1100??

Gaffer, the actual glass is 6-5/8", and all the Specials should be the same.

Hey Gaffer and NewMaac,

The glass may measure 6-5/8, but it's called a 7" round, and an auto 7" round will fit it!

MY suzi light looked a bit puny!! not many specials over here to look at!!

i was troubled as i just forked out for a rusty old item(all i could get!!)

and then one was on uk ebay stated 9inch!! so was wondering which was right

9 inch would have been luvvvly ,wouldnt it?? that sold for near a hundred dollars with ears off an 83 special i think he stated??
