79 sf mixture screws

Hi all,
I've got my carbs torn down for cleaning and was looking in the tech section for tips. I saw the one about the little o-rings and washers on the mixture screws. Is my 79 sf supposed to have o-rings? I just pulled out the screws and they are long tapers with springs....nothing else. Is this correct?

Yes it is correct. The O rings were used on the 80-81 models.
