stripped oil filter bolt

hi gang I have a problem, I was changing the oil in my bike and when I went to remove the bolt for the oil filter it stripped. presently it is perfectly smoothh how do do I get the bolt and filter off,please suggest!

Also go and buy a six point 12mm socket for the future.
