OK, this is what we know.
Floats are are the same height. Fuel is going into carbs. all lines are connected properly. When it starts, which it isn't doing at this moment, it sounds great, then the idle stars to go up, we adjust it down then it dies and won't restart.
We put new plugs in; however, the #2 plug looks like new still, whereas the others are dark.
Also there was one jet, the one that is way down, the one that if you don't look really close you may not notice, anyway this one was stripped and we couldn't remove it to clean, I did put lots of carb cleaner and blew compressed air in there.
Right now my son and I are baffled completely. Our best guess is that it has something to do with that one plug, possible the coil.
    Can anyone help us here?
    Thanks,

Fed, sync the butterflys with a .063mm - .0025in feeler gauge rather than a bread tie. Bread tie is way too thick. Stripped jets sound dicy to say the least. I'd pull the whole damn lot out again and make sure all are OK sizes and condition. Same with float valves.

OK, I'll try that and see what happens.
