    can you still get new pick up coils . the wires on mine are comeing apart

    Yes, you can still get new ones if you want to $pend the buck$. You can also try the broken pick-up coil wire repair procedure.

      i tried that but one wire just touch and falls apart

          I tried repairing mine and only made it worse. The new ones were well worth the price and the lowering of &^%^%$^% factor.

            Good choice, once the wires start to break down they are bound to break again in different places. It's not always a question of use, as I was surprised to find out. We have a 40,000 mile machine that appears to have never had a problem, and dhost's bike was under 9,000 when his went out. Mine broke at about 50,000, and the current project has bad ones and 25,000. Furthermore, the fix makes a solid spot in the wire, so it makes it a little harder on the remaining wire. There's no way to really tell how long it will last.
