  • Master Cylinder rebuild kits

    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a kit to rebuild the rear
    master cyl. on my XJ1100J.

I'm having no luck at all, are there other
models that use the same kit?

    Thanks,
    Dave

Maybe (maybe, mind you) the 81 Midnight Special = XSs1100LH - I heard they also have unified brakes, but not sure if same components. Let us know if you find out!

        Master Cylinder Kits

        Dave,

I found Master Cylinder Kits for my XJ1100 at Zanottimotor Co. last fall. The rear cylinder kit was about $20 cheaper than the local Yamaha Dealer was charging. Here is the web site address.

        Hope this helps,

Thanks. I submitted an parts inquiry, but I haven't heard back yet. I have my
          fingers crossed though.

I just picked one up for my xj from Zanotti.

            Installed it last night.

Cost was $30.00 (with shipping) and it took ~10 days to be UPSed to my door...

That's great news. Do you happen to have a part number? This will surely
              speed up the ordering process.

              Thanks in advance.

I seem to remember that Zannotoni is not accepting email orders/inquirys somewhere at the moment. Once you get the part number you probably should call them.

Had no problem placing a phone order with Zanotti. They even looked up the part nubber for me.

Thanks JL and everyone. The kit
from Zanotti is on the way.
