XJ Exhaust

Just how necessary is the crossover tube on the XJ's exhaust?

I've had to weld my mufflers to the headers since the connecting section was rusted away and it would be alot simpler to mount them now if there was no crossover.

You may loose a little low end power but not enough to worry about. I don't have a crossover on the Mongrel and it's not a problem.
