you need to post/upload your picture to a web site and then link it to here. right now it is linked to your computer. it wont work.

First bike was an: 1978 XS1100
    Second bike is an FJR1300.
    Now I'm restoring a '79 XS1100.

      So that's how it works.
Too much soddin' effort for this computer-illiterate geriatric.

                  colour choice

                  Hi Chevy,
I doubt it's your tank. It came with the bike and had been repainted black with metalflake speckles before I bought the bike. Paint stripper showed huge bondoed & huger FRP dent repairs, musta stole at least a quart off the already pathetically small fuel capacity. Had to re-bondo & paint.
I would have chosen a bold yellow but since 3 years back when I fizzed both my sons Honda V4s that colour everybody & his dog have made bold yellow pathetically commonplace. So I decided that a change of preference was called for.
The XS11 rigs colour is Astro Towing Company Orange, the local paint suppliers keep it in stock.
My first choice of tank was the Standard tank that also came with the bike but alas! Although paint stripper showed hardly any dents it did reveal rust pinholes here & there and also, with the Standard tank in place the Special seat won't fit.
You may notice a luggage rack on my sidecar. First thing that straps to it is a 2 gallon fuel container.

                    you asked for it

the only reason i choose this color is i never saw an all orange bike.
