  • need a part for a centerstand

The rubber stopper that my centerstand hits that is near the pivot point has not enough rubber on it to stop it before it hits too high.

Any suggestions of where to find this or if someone might have. Interestingly enough, when people sell centerstands on Ebay, they don't seem to have this part.

Try getting a tube of "shoe goo". You should be able to build up the old rubber, and have it last for a while.
I've used the "marine goo" on my old Zodiac, and it will stay flexible and usefull for two years or longer. The shoe goo is designed for repairing the sole of a sneaker, so it should hold up well for the center stand.

          Thumper,

IIRC, the stopper is on the exhaust. I don't recall there's one near the pivot? Did you change the exhaust?

I have a couple of OEM stoppers, but if you have an aftermarket exhaust will they help??
