NAPA, Autozone, and the Farmers CO-OP is where I get mine at. It's in the carb section of cleaners and the can is white with red lettering. (Unless I'm color blind or the alsheimers is setting in the morning.)

The CO-OP quick stop where they sell fuel even has the stuff.

Usually if I have a carb acting up...like it's missing from a circuit being plugged I run a full can on 2 gallons of gas.

I usually run a little on every tank....maybe 3-4 ounces in a tank of gas....just for preventative.

There are various other fuel treatments that will also work. They will help remove varnish and moisture in the fuel system. It's most important to add it to your full gas tank when laying up for the winter, and run it enough to get it into the float bowls.

The other good one that I use is Berryman's B12 Chemtool. I think it may be the same as seafoam. Red and White can, with a little blue. It will take the paint off anything, and clean out the carbs and fuel lines.

                    Dang FireFighter,

6'10" ! and I thought I was tall as 6'6", you must be even more cramp than I am on your machine!!

Aside from auto stores, check boat supply stores, since it's more common for boats to sit up for a long time without running vs. cars!! Hence the name "SEA" foam.

Yeah, I usually put a few ounces in every other tankfull. T.C.

                        SEAFOAM stinks!

I put SEAFOAM in my last tank a couple weeks ago. I ran most of it and parked the bike. I started it tonight to go for a ride and boy does that exhaust stink!

Marty, does it smell like rotten fish? What are you doing going around sniffing exhaust for anyway?

                            Seafoam in the Crankcase

I sent a message to the Sea-Foam website to inquire as to the specifics of using Sea-Foam in the crankcase.

I specifically asked if it is to be used just before an oil change or if it should be added to fresh oil and left in for the duration of an oil change.

                            Here's what they replied:

"Sea Foam is a pure petroleum product and you don't have to take it out. I would add 4 or 5 caps full to the oil about a week be fore you change oil. Another four or 5 caps full after you have changed oil and leave in your oil till your next oil change. Hope this helps."

I was having "oil light" issues. The oil light was coming on when I knew I had sufficient pressure. I added some sea-foam to the oil, and it cured my problem in less than a minute.
