where do you get snap ring pliers?

    where do you get snap ring pliers?

    I guess I need a pair of snap ring pliers to take apart the slide needle assembly,Kragen carries them,but are they long enough to reach all the way inside?Any advice where to get a pair?

    The best thing is to take the part with you to the store. That way you can see if the tool will fit. I bought my pliers at a NAPA store.

      You can never go wrong buying good quality tools. I bought mine at sears. Mainly for the warrentee. Spend the $$$ and get a good complete set. They come in many different styles. The tips on my set are interchangeable with different lengths, widths, angles. You may only use them once in a while but you'll be glad that you bought a good set in the long run

        I have yet to find a set that are long or skinny enough.
        I modifyed a set of needle-nose pliers to do the job.

            ebay is a great place for tools and you get a picture of what it is as well

            i call them circlip pliers try that in ebay search bar

            should get a great deal as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
