K&L petcock repair kits any good?

Are the K& L petcock repair kits worth the cash($25.00).Do they fit correctly,etc?

I tried and mine still leak.

The kit I got had the stuff for standards and specials in it . . . ie the petcock rebuild stuff for both kinds, and the octopus.

The petcock stuff worked fine . . . the octopus valve did not. The part is incorrect dimension and would not cut the gas off.

Got a new octopus and it was great after that!
