    Hey Fred,
Yes, your SG has the Emergency stop switch/tip over switch, designed to cut out the ignition system when the tilt angle reaches 60 degrees or more! It's under the tank, on the frame, just to the rear of the first wider cross beam that is just behind the rubber tank mounts.

From what I can make out of the schematic, just unplugging it should do fine, it's a simple single pole, single throw, when it's tripped, it shorts to ground, the black/white striped wire that comes from the Ignition module. So..as long as that wire doesn't contact any grounding source, then you shouldn't experience it cutting the ign. off!

      Fred Hill,

The tipover switch is located next to the headlight relay, under the tank between the frame rails. It's the module with the "UP" designation on the rubber mount.

You don't even have to remove it, just unplug it.

Be aware, though, that it's designed to shut the engine down in case of an accident. So without it the engine will continue to run when tipped over.

        Hi Randy,
if my sidecar rig ever tips over to 60ยบ I reckon the engine not stopping will be the least of my worries but thanks for your concern.
