How much fork oil?

Hey Folks,

It's that time... To replace the fork seals. I've read the information about the tool but, I haven't found a post that states how much oil goes into each fork leg. Can someone tell me how much oil to put in? I own a 79 Standard. Thanks in advance for any and all responses!

Fork Oil

For an E or an F add 7.12 oz or 212 cc in each leg. You could use automatic trans oil but I have always used Bel Ray #15 fork oil.

Here is what Clymer has to say: Models E and F---212cc Model SF is 225cc. Hope this helps you out. Take care.
