O.k., so I pulled off my petcocks and reassembled them which seems to have solved the gas overflow problem thus far.I then start the bike with the choke lever pulled out 2 clicks where it appears to run fine.I wait about 2 minutes then push it in one click, then in all the way.The problem is when the lever is all the way in the enging doesnt run as well as it does when the lever is all the way open(this is at a standstill, not riding). Also with the lever all the way in is when I am experiencing the smoke coming out of the tailpipes.Any thoughts on this?

check compression? how many miles on the bike? how long has this been going on? When was the last time the bike was running good? and have you pulled and cleaned the carbs? what color is the smoke? are the plugs wet with fuel and or fouling?
