After working my ass off training "adults" for the first half of the year... that and a new baby due in 2 months.... I have decided
that it is best that I take a few days and put some wind in my hair and try and regain my sanity.... I am a fortunate man, in that
my wife, Pam, agrees. I am taking the Shadow... my most reliable ride... I am leaving out next Saturday AM on a route that
more or less takes me up US 41 from Atlanta to Terre Haute, Indiana to see an old pal, drink some beer and generally be on
no schedule whatsoever... Not an interstate planned the whole way. Anyone in receipt of this post close to that route who is
interested in a brief meeting with a burned out shell of an XS'er ... I'd love to stop by and say hello. Another week of teaching those who could give a flying fu** about what I have to say (they have to attend my classes.... there is no "want to")... and then I am gone...
As an aside... the "What tools do you carry" tech tip on the XS11.com web page (look left and click "tech tips" and then click "misc") is and always shall be an excellent resource
for getting ready for a 1K plus trip... IMHO.... check it out...
