Are they the same? i want to know if I can put Wiseco forged pistons for the 1100 in the 700.

Whoops, the pistons were for the XS1100 not XJ. Still, whats the stroke of the XJ700

I don't know what the stroke is, but the bore is 72 mm for the XS/XJ11. The next bigger Wiseco piston is 74 mm, equaling 1179 cc. What is the bore of your bike? Can the steel sleeves on your 700 handle being cut out to 74mm? Probably not, as they are not all that thick to start with.
