  • UNI filter & jetting

What carb jet and/or needle position changes are needed when using the UNI foam air filter in the stock airbox on a 78E?

None. The Uni-Foam is not enough of a flow change to warrant the cost and hassle of changing jets. (IMHO)

Denny is right-on with that one.

I installed a uni filter in my factory airbox, and the bike still runs wonderful and the plug checks are all they correct color.

Check your plugs to get an idea of how the mixture is.
