  • Carbs done, bike won't fire up...

Number three was full of crud and the others looked great. But she won't start. It turnsover like normal and I noticed no fuel flowing at first, a line was kinked but I got that.

Does it take a while for the carbs to fill up? I had it in prime for a bit and tried but no luck, maybe I'm pushing things.

Did you pull the float needle and seats to check the screen/strainer that attaches to the top of the seat? I found some wierd stuff up there on the carbs from my 78. Would have never found it if I hadn't pulled the seats.

Thanks to Bill's suggestions I was able to get it up and running this morning. What a difference the sound of four cylenders make firing when they are supposed to. I can't wait to see the difference in the drive.

I really appreciate all the help and advice gents, THANKS!!

BTW, Have a fantastic turkey day!
