    Gas cap revisited

    Just wondering if anyone might know if the gas cap for an XS650
    Special will replace the cap for a XS11 Special? In particular, I'm looking at the cap listed on page 44 of the most recent Mikes XS catalog, part number 20-0034.

    Any information appreciated.

    Hey Mike,

    Just looked at it, notice the part # they give has both the 2MO prefix for the 650, and the 4RO which is the XS11 prefix for the 81 SH. The Yamaha OEM numer is the same part # aside from the prefix, 2M0-24602-00-00. And Mike's XS knows that many of us with XS11's get parts for them from the 650's!! So...I would wager that it will fit with no problem!
