    wounded XS, blinker needed

I hurt my poor girl! Well the good news is that I didn't lay her down, I was in a hurry ( a real hurry) pulling my truck in and just tagged my right rear blinker it broke off at the mount! So if anyone has an extra rear blinker out there I would love to take it off your hands, for a marginal fee of course. I am willing to purchase both to prevent matching problems. Thanks in advance.

The signal and post are seperate parts. Do you need just the post?

With a quick glance (upon being very frustrated) I thought it came all together. Actually, after reading I could get it seperate I called the local dealer and the only way to get the post is to buy the whole thing at a $50 price tag.So if you or anyone else has the post I would really appreciate it.

I checked PartsNMore and Denniskirk and could not find them. I though I bough some from Denniskirk a couple years back, but not sure.

I broke the signal on my 82 XJ. The local dealer just ordered a replacement out of a catalog...he gets a slight discount which really helps here in Hawaii. If I remember correctly, it was from JC Whitney, but I'll try to stop by this week and ask...I'm in the market for another one. That's one of the hazards of having a motorcycle on a college campus. Every once in a while I come out to find that someone has tipped it over and set it back up again with only the broken turn signals to show for it...I'd really like to see it happen just once. If nothing else, I'd like to see the look on the guy's face when he tries to pick the bike back up!

Almost forgot...I got mine for $14. I didn't have to order the post though, there's enough play in the rubber mounts when it falls that it just boogers up the lens and deforms the aluminum.
