Excellent idea .I purchased a set of XJCD's from the XJ Owners Group and they have been great . A XSCD set would be just the thing for that XS in my future

I can read the Clymer's all day long...BUT SHOW ME ONCE and I'm ready to dig in. I have searched basically all the related forum pictures as I work on my bike and they have been VERY helpful. A DVD would be the best yet. I can't wait.

Only a Biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.
Does anybody ever watch those gear head shows on TNT or FX or the Speed Channel? Well those always leave out tons of steps and seem to always have the easiest engines to work on or the best tools lying around.
I saw one this weekend where the guy needed to remove some floor panels, so he just got an air chisel to do it. Then he had to drop the sub frame and remove the engine, but the engine was too big for his engine hoist. So he called his buddy and Engine Hoists America or something like that to bring over this Godzilla of a hoist. WHO HAS A FRICKIN AIR CHISEL AND FRIENDS WITH HUGE ENGINE HOISTS?! I want to see how they get out a stuck bolt, or a bolt that the head busted off. I want to see how the normal guy with a normal shop can fix some of that stuff. I know there isn't a video that can cover EVERY situation, but there are some pretty regular mishaps and screw ups with our bikes that we can do a decent job at this.
I think I'm going to just start filming what I do. My roomate has a ton of editting software. Maybe I can just edit down what I do. I saw a pretty good carb video on youtube. The guy breaks down a single carb to clean it. I think it was a mikuni too. It's how I learned about breaking down my carbs (I'm a newbie). Maybe we can add that link to the tech tips?
