    Right, TopCat. Any 12v muti-pole relay will work in place of the headlight relay, as long as it's at least 2-poles.

    Use the first pole to actuate the headlight circuit and the second pole to latch the relay. In that configuration it will work exactly like the original.

    Or, you can use a single pole relay and the lights will go out whenever the engine stalls. Which is the way I've configured it.

      cool i will get a new relay and pigtail from work monday and rewire thats for all the help guy
