Need part...speedo drive

Folks:

Some where, in storage, I have a spare speedometer drive gear. It is one of many boxes in 1 of 2 storage areas, each area measuring 10 x 20. I can't find the d#m thing.

If anyone has a drive gear, (mounts on the front axle), that they would be willing to part with at a reasonable price, PLEASE let me know. Cable (brand new) is not turning, so I have no speed or milage indication.

BTW, today is the second day on a new job. I'm now the "computer man" for the Garfield County Jail in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

This means I am starting over on vacation hours, so will have little time off until next October 1st. Not much hope to get to a rally next summer.

Jerry, have you checked to see if the drive is working? Between the drive and the dust seal is a washer with some 90 degree tabs on it, and those tabs drive the speedo drive. I sold one of those washer/tabs to a an XSive here before. Sorry, but I don't have one to offer you. Do you have a spare front wheel that may have one?

Jerry, I've got a couple of spares for my XJ. I'd be happy to give you one. I even have a spare cable.
