I have shipped packages to the UK several times when selling on eBay. If you can't get a cable over there, PM me and I will get it to you PRIORITY MAIL. There is a flat rate that isn't too bad. This is why we're here, right?

I managed to get a second hand cable from D&K breakers 42.00(Pounds)!!!!!!!!! i know i know i was robbed!!!! but you do silly things when you are desperate!. But i have also just recieved a brand new genuine yamaha cable from the US for $23!!!!!!!! including shipping.. I will now always try the USA first when sourcing parts. What I used in repairing a cable. This should work if the outer sleeve is in good shape{mine wasn`t}.Go get a raw cable that will slide through the old cable sleeve and make sure it is a little longer than what you are going to use.Next take the old ends that are on your old cable to a auto parts place and match up with dowels{preferbly with hex head screws}.Might have to use a dremial and a small drill bit to get everything to match up.Slide the end of the cable through the dowel a tighten the hex screw as tight as you can.{or else the cable will slip out}That will be for the handlebar end.Next if the cable is routed through the old sleeve.First make sure the adjuster on the handlebar is in all the way with the cable hooked up.Screw the adjuster all the way in on the side of the engine. Now slide the dowel up on the cable to the same distance as the old cable, tighten then trim off excess cable. You will proably have to fine tune a little but the hard part is done.I did basically the same thing when the clutch cable broke on my dirt bike.Total cost to fix my clutch cable was 50 cents The work is not hard just tedious{have to pay attention to detail}just take your time.I hope this helps.

                  UK xsives

Nah - I'm the one on the Sweaty Socks in Surrey....although there is actually a cider place not far away that can leave you in quite a mess if you're daft enough to take quantities to a rally......yes Andy, I've heard about your cider supplies!

Hey all, details weren't on side when question was asked, only just found profile page
                  Yeah Scoobes so .........

Was blank when I last looked anyhow.... but age may be just making me see what I want to see!!! ....(like a pristine XS11 in the garage)

A Black XS1.1 from Portsmouth eh?.... mine came from that way too - bought it in Winchester but it came originally from a New Forest dealer somewhere down there.

So - the UK Devon XS owners group starts....... nicer part of the world than the scummy South East where I am.

Chaps........ hope the Warwick meet went well the other day..... I will come along one day honest (running on three again).

                        Hi Guys,

It's far too late now, I know, but here is a UK supplier of clutch cables (and other bits too).

They're offering new pattern cables (non Yamaha) ones for £9 plus £3 postage !

                        Check out PatternParts

I found these guys when I was searching for XS parts suppliers for my website XS Part Number Finder. So PM me if there are any more suppliers in the UK (or anywhere else really) and I'll add them to the supplier database.

                        Cheers,
                        Brian
